The super folk at Mighty Nice are developing Bottersnikes and Gumbles, the iconic children's books, into an animated series. I was so lucky to be involved. I worked in the initial development phase, creating boards designs and animation for the proof of concept. The series goes into production 2013. For the piece above I did the initial boards and then shared layout and animation duties with Toby Pedersen

Cartoon Network collected together 6 animators/studios from around the world and asked them to make a no holes barred animated exquisite corpse. Each animator was given 10 seconds of music, a colour pallet and a starting frame from the person before them and set free to do as they please with some of the best loved characters on TV. Needless to say this was incredibly fun to be a part of. In Order of apearance- Me Eamonn Oneil, Impacist, CRCR, Rubber House, Awesome Inc, Oversight by Michael Ouweleen, Leslie Kleine and Jacob Escobedo This is my little section by itself- A couple of style frames I drew up-

Crabs. Loop Deloop - Childhood. from Alex Grigg on Vimeo. When I was little I'd draw for hours on old printer paper and the back of 'how to vote cards' from when my grandfather ran for town mayor. I'd draw a lot of monsters and sea creatures. For this month's Loop Deloop's Childhood theme I got my parents to send me one of these drawings (I was 4 when I drew these little guys) and did my best to animate it. Some making of work can be seen on my blog here- http://tmblr.co/ZYV_tu1RP2xT5 Music by Jude Kohn - http://www.judekohnmusic.com/
